    This recipe was the beginning of us having "foil dinner." My family loved it! I did make a few minor adjustments (No lemon, Worcestershire or soy. Instead I use the little packets u get at the market that have pot roast seasoning or beef stew. McCormick or store brand. But I put about 1/2 or so of the seasoning in a bowl with a some water and wisk it. (about 1/3C) I toss the meat (lol) in a bowl with chopped onion and mix in some of this liquid concentrated seasoning. I save some of it in a separate bowl or make more. Once everything in on the foil, I pour it over the meat & onions before folding up.(oh and I do drizzle a little olive oil. Come to think of it, I season the potatoes too. I cut them up and in a bowl, I toss them in olive oil with a little Rosemary, garlic salt, parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before adding them to the foil. I place the meat & onion with the seasoning, then potatoes seasoned as described, then carrots. Drizzle drizzle..yumyum..fold tightly and blam!) I make this recipe with sirloin tip steak OR beef stew meat (low & slow) and I've used country style boneless ribs cut up which makes a pork version. We love it. The beef version with the pot roast seasoning is like having pot roast in bite sizes. I Love this!

    This was awesome. The only change I made was to quickly brown the steaks in a frying pan first. I had pretty thin steaks, so I cooked them at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Delicious!

    turned a $24.98/lb Sirloin beef tip into rough tough unchewable- non-curable garbage!!! Grrrrr

    Not sure about rolling them out, guess you could try and if it doesn't work then do as the recipe says. Good Luck

    and btw, thanks for commenting on my quesadillas recipe with the cilantro bean dip.... I have a little more of that dip left, and I think I am going to make those for lunch today! yum!
