I made a batch of pickled eggs with this recipe, minus the sugar and they turned otr fabulous. The turmeric adds an unexpected twist. Friends love the pickles but you make make everyone enjoy a pickled egg.

Great pickles. Zesty, sweet but not too sweet, and crunchy. Waiting the 6 weeks was difficult but well worth the wait. Thanks for the recipe.

Hi there, thanks for your nice comment on the Chorizo kale soup! My husband grows his own kale, so I have to come up with lots of different ways to cook it. Please, accept my buddy invite, and have a wonderful day!

Hey Swamphunter, thanks a lot for the offer to mail some Old Bay Seasoning to me. It's a kind offer but thankfully not necessary as I have now found out I can get it where I live (Glasgow, Scotland). Those would have been some expensive taters!! Thanks again, you're a decent sort!
Happy cooking and I'll tell you how I got on when I make these.
Kind regards and have a happy Easter

Oh my! You just gave me a great idea for breakfast with those extra Swampland Taters (which - if I haven't told you enough - are great!)...
I bet they'd be really good if you threw in some fried bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, whipped up some eggs - poured them over the top and tossed it all in the oven or over the camp fire...
