About me
I come from an Italian background. I grew up in Wheeling, WV, just 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh so I'm used to good ethnic food. Unfortunately, right now I live in southern West Virginia where it is fairly difficult to come by so I've decided to make it on my own. Growing up and even still, my family makes its own spaghetti sauce and homemade meat and cheese ravioli's. My step-mother's side of the family owned a Polish bakery in the Wheeling area and I still salivate when I think of my great-aunt's homemade peirogi's. To think, I spent years thinking I wouldn't like them. :) I love cooking for my husband and friends and look forward to trying the delicious recipes on the site. :)
