About me
Most of the recipes I post are ones I made up for myself. However I used to work at Friendly's and since I worked there they have changed a lot so if I find a recipe that is suppost to be just like their stuff then I will post that as well. I will also post things I find interesting from around the web and from old books and family recipes.

Sorry you had trouble with the blitzes. I double checked recipe and I wrote it down just like they had it. I do notice that sometimes the different brands of cottage cheese makes a difference. Sometimes I use ricotta and that is dryer. I know the blitzes I used to buy in Detroit were kind of bland.. so I thought that was the way they were meant to be...

I'm not a huge cool whip fan, either, but, it stuff like that I can go with it. lol I would think that it would need the same amount of real whipped cream, 8 oz. I have never checked the measurements, but I would think 8 oz of whipping cream yields 8 oz of whipped cream. That's just my best guess, though! Hope you get to try it.
