I have loved cooking since my grandma let me help her make mashed potatoes when I was 5 years old. I am striving to retain the authentic southern recipes I saw my two grandmothers and my mother make. They "eyeballed" a lot in th
eir cooking, so I am trying to revive the tastes from memory. It's hard! Also, my children are half Italian and I have some recipes their Great-Grandma and Aunts left to me before they passed. Someday I would like to publish all my "last century" recipes, for my kids if for no one else. Family preservation at work!
