About me
I have been cooking since I was about 6 years old. I loved to concoct new things (to my dad's utter annoyance) and learned the right ways and wrong ways of mixing ingredients! I have had a mother that taught me everything I know about home baking (cookies, home made cakes, perogies, home made buns and best of all my cinnamon buns...... these have been known by co-workers and even had other company workers as for some........ which of course I lovingly supplied) . I love to bake and see the faces of family and friends when they taste something they absolutely think is divine or the "bees knees". I can create my own "dishes" just from someone explaining to me a dining experience they had and put my own twist on it and have them tell me it is "fantastic". Always makes my heart glow. I love to learn new things and have actually just bought ingredients to try salmon mousse. We shall see how it goes. With a family of four kids and a husband, there is never a day missed when I hear that they love my cooking or just "wow, thanks mom", or my favourite when they come home from school and say "FOOOOOOOD" with a huge grin and a rush to eat. **sigh** it's the simple things that make me so happy.
