About me
I'm an educator professionally, but a cook at heart. For my 50th birthday last year, I put together a cookbook of my recipes, plus those of my friends and family. I play a variety of stringed instruments, having just added a ukelele after my trip to Hawaii. I'd rather eat in New Orleans than anywhere else.

You asked Dugger with his Dry Rub Steak what he means by grill to desired doneness and did he finish his steaks in the oven...No, just cook it on the grill until it's done to your likeness, if you like rare, cook about 3 - 4 minutes per side (for a 1 inch steak) add a couple minutes for each degree of doneness you want...medium rare 5 - 7 minutes per side over a high heat. Cut into it to check it...HTH
