I'm a writer and account executive with my own marketing design consultancy. I'm also mom to two little girls, both with milk food allergies to gluten and cow's milk. Good thing we love meat and rice! I'm all about finding quick, healthful meals that can be assembled from in-season, local foods.

Thanks for being my new cooking buddy. I know a little about milk allergies. When my daughter was born in 1986 I couldn't breast feed because of medical problems and all the baby formulas they would tell me to give her she would be allergic to. They finally found one she could tolerate but my area in Tennessee did not have it. It had to be shipped from West Tennessee and it was $18.00 a can. It was really hard on us but we made it. She just had her baby girl a week ago today and her little boy will be 1 year old next week.
