About me
My thought for the day: Often your tasks will be many, And more than you think you can do - Often the road will be rugged, And the hills insurmountable, too - But always remember, the hills ahead, Are never steep as they seem, And with faith in your heart start upward, And climb 'til you reach your dream, For nothing in life that is worthy, Is ever too hard to achieve. ANOTHER ONE: Honest bread is very wee- it's the butter that makes the temptation (Douglas Jerrold)

Good Morning Tina! I wanted to pop in to say thank you for the recipe buddy invitation. Of course I have accepted you ;) I just read your thoughts for the day and they're wonderful. I think it's a great way to begin the day with some meaningful words of wisdom. Take care Tina and have a wonderful weekend!
Cheers!!!

Hello Tinadc, and thanks for your comments & rating on my Posh French Mash! They really do melt in your mouth -- but, you have to be careful when beating them -- it's a fine line between melt-in-mouth and glutonous mush LOL!!

Hi! Yes, thanks, I had a wonderful Easter! My husband have a huge family, and every year on Easter weekend they come together for a reunion. They've been doing this for almost 40 years. Thank you so much for the 5 rating. Hope your weekend was great aswell!

Hi Tina, Thank you so much for inviting me and for your most generous comments. You have some very interesting recipes. The garlic steak salad sounds awesome. Seems like most every time a recipe catches my eye, I see your picture there too so we must have similar taste buds... I will be looking forward being your food friend. If you have any questions regarding any of my recipes, please give me a shout... Jim

Hi Tina :) Smart Balance Light is a buttery-tasting spread kind of like margarine that is healthier....it has flax seed oil, Omega-3's and it lactose-free.....it's really good. If you don't have it in your area you could substitute w/another margarine or butter that you normally use. My friend is really health-consicious and is into health foods and exercising...I am too, but not as much as she is. :) She recommended the Smart Balance Light. :)

Thanks for the comment on my Spanish rice, Tina! I hope you and your family enjoy it ! :) Have a great day! :)

Apricot Honey Bread
I'm a great fan of different breads. Don't have a recipe like this in my collection. Sounds really great!

Sesame Chicken With Honey
Hi Kukla, thank you for your comment. Papaya is the bigger version of papinos and it works just as well. I even use green papaya/papino's just sprinkle sugar over the slices

Greenbeanbredie Green-bei
This sounds really different. I have to try it!

Apricot Honey Bread
Sounds great - thanks!

I'm a fan of natural un-sulphered dried apricots: they look brown and taste like fruity caramel to me :-)

Scottish Mussel Brose
Now you see, I'm Scot-the good taste must be inbred. Ho,ho.
