Hi Trishk! About the yellow butter cake. A good, classic, vanilla buttercream. I frost the cake with buttercream made of butter. I decorate with buttercream made from shortening (borders, writing, etc). I put fondant over the buttercream on this particular cake, but that was b/c it was a small wedding cake. If you need a buttercream recipe, let me know. Thanks!
