About me
I live in the woods with my husband, two dogs, five cats, 17 chickens, a canary and one owl faced finch. If I had my way I would have donkeys, horses and at least one milking cow. I have two married children and two grandchildren by my son Jacob and his wife Tonya. They are BEAUTIFUL girls who don't seem to be afraid of climbing trees, gathering eggs from the hens or digging in the garden. I often feel as though I have the honor of reliving my childhood through my grown children and their children. Much of what I do is designed to bring new experiences to my granddaughters. I asked my 7 year old granddaughter if she had ever milked a cow. She said yes. Naturally I asked to to tell me about it. She said her school class filled up rubber gloves to duplicate the experience. My goal is to help her tiny hands experience the real thing. What fun!!!! I garden, feed the animals, cook, read, and sit quietly (when I can) for therapy.
