About me
I live in Portland Oregon, but was born and raised in New England. Love Portland, except for one thing......there is no sun !!!!!!!! Previously we lived in Colorado and the weather was wonderful, .......... but there is always a trade off in life and now we live near my daughter and family, and my grandsons and that was the best move and trade off of all. I love cooking and baking, but I have to say that I love bread baking by far the best.......Every day I try a new loaf or loaves and give them away to the family and to friends. My grandsons love my bread and especially love a sweet bread that I make which I am sure you are all familiar with, called Amish Friendship bread. The bread baking has become compulsive . I can't get enough baking done, and keep baking and baking and baking bread.........and I find myself making loaves late at night and teaching myself new techniques I find on the web. Is there anybody else that uses quiet time every day, and bakes new bread recipes, and jus can't seem to stop either? Currently I am into artisan breads. I am retired . my husband and I have 4 cats and two dogs, they are our children . I make the dogs their doggie biscuits and willl share the recipe . They are a big hit with their doggie friends too. They say bread is the staff of life and I truly am witness to that, since I can't quit baking it.....................Happy bread baking So nice to view all fo your wonderful recipes .
