About me
I have been working as a cook in restaurants since I was fourteen years old, everything from small sandwich shops, pizzerias, and family style Italian, to French fine dinning. Currently I work as a baker in a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. I love learning new things not only in cooking but in many other fields as well; Philosophy, art, and music ranking most high. When I cook I don't necessarily follow a recipe I'll just get an idea in my head (typically inspired by some amazing produce), gather my ingredients, and put them together. My cooking is mainly influenced by Italian, however I frequently enjoy throwing a monkey wrench into the works and seeing what happens. I cook by instinct so some of the measurements in my recipes may be a little off. In the kitchen I just try to have fun and follow my senses; all of them.
