About me
I love food. i used to think i loved food. but since when was fish sticks and half-burned tater tots food? i grew up on hotdogs, honey and peanut butter sandwiches, cola, peeled apples and bananas. i had never touched a strawberry, blueberry, spinach, tofu, garlic, onions, carrots...nothing. then i got a job as a prep cook at the saint louis zoo's cafe and catering department. i started trying new things but it was nothing compared to when my vegan roomie moved in. i found out what food was really like. then, i refused to eat if it wasn't in my very short list of things labeled "food". now, i can say i truly love food. i'd even try meat if i thought the dish was worthy. now i'm on the opposite end of the "picky" scale. now i can say i love food.
