About me
Hello. I have lived here in WV for the last 3 years and am loving it. My home state is Maine, though I have lived in many places including Canada. Taught myself to cook (matter of survival) when I was 12. I love cooking, much to my girlfriends dismay. Something about gaining weight. Would have to say I'm old school about cooking, I rarely make anything from a box. Gram wouldn't be caught dead feeding her kids from a box. Been awhile since been here. Still doing my jerky. thinking about getting into bbq. Something about ordering bbq and it not being cooked on meat. Need to show the southerners how to do BBQ lol

Opps sorry mate I'll rephrase that then to "you sound like my kind of guy" and hope you don't take it as a come on lol

Hi! you sound like my kind of girl @:} I too would rather take the time to make something myself rather than reach for the box or ready made meal from the freezer, ugh

I have a 2 sausage recipes if you care to look on my page under FARM SAUSAGE, a traditional South African sausage, great to bbq

Could i have your recipe of pig in the blanket?

Hi and thank youfor teh comment on the Baltimore Beef Bad Boy. The dry rub smells wonderful and the flavor is awesome! You smoke meat? I just love that. I am just starting out =D

Hi. Thanks for your comment on my Jerk Chicken recipe. Habenero/Scotch Bonnet peppers work great. You'll get the fire power you want. :)

Thank you for being my cooking buddy. I'm with you on not making things from a box. That's not home made. I like to know what I am feeding my family as well. My husband is allergic to pecans and walnuts, so I rarely buy something from a bakery or from a mix unless I know what is in it.

Thank you for the comment/review on the egg rolls! Glad you liked them!

Chopped nuts while warm would be a nice touch. One would have to move quickly as it sets up very fast.
Thanks for suggestion!
