About me
Hello. I have lived here in WV for the last 2 years and am loving it. My home state is Maine, though I have lived in many places including Canada. Taught myself to cook (matter of survival) when I was 12. I love cooking, much to my girlfriends dismay. Something about gaining weight. Would have to say I'm old school about cooking, I rarely make anything from a box. Gram wouldn't be caught dead feeding her kids from a box. Have recently got back into smoking meat. Have also started making my own sausage. Still learning that trick.

Thank you for being my cooking buddy. I'm with you on not making things from a box. That's not home made. I like to know what I am feeding my family as well. My husband is allergic to pecans and walnuts, so I rarely buy something from a bakery or from a mix unless I know what is in it.

Chopped nuts while warm would be a nice touch. One would have to move quickly as it sets up very fast.

I do love the coast although we live in Northern Maine we camp on the coast often. The picture was taken on Prince Edward Island which is one of our favorite places in Canada. Snow We do have plenty with more on the way!

Stuffed Pork Loin With A
The essence isn't mine, but I use it with alot of recipes. Makes a quick and simple spice to add with everything. Especially if recipe might be missing that "something right"
