Hi Mike - thanks for being my cooking buddy. I look forward to trying some of your recipes, and I like Chorizo anything so the soup sounds pretty good. = )

Hi Dancegypsy67 and Sunny. Thanks for the invites. I hope our friendship lasts a long time. Keep the food ideas coming.

Anyone like the sound of 'Chorizo Sausage and Chestnut Soup'? It has a safron infused chicken stock base with onions.... it's a touch spicy and very aromatic. Only to be made with fresh (uncooked) chorizo sausage...served with garlic bread...

It might be the soup I make for this years Thanksgiving.... again

Thanks for being my cooking buddy and a warm welcome to the group!

First recipe posting. Bombs away....

Hi Sunny, My first tagine was pretty tasty. I am doing a fish tagine tonight. I thought to try both and then post one.... Tagines are a slow cook. Set them up and leave them alone. I do like that but it is not the way I usually cook. I like a hands on approach... Thanks for looking in... Later, Mike

How was the Tagine? Is the recipe worth posting?

Thanks, Shandy. It will take me a while to get used to this site. I checked your friends list....wow! That's a lot of company coming over soon! Off to work now so I'll catch you later. Mike

Cauliflower With Turmeric
This sounds great, Warmbeer. I like all the ingredients on their own, so time to put it all together, huh?? Thanks again...

Cauliflower With Turmeric
Try this: give the dish a crumbly texture, mash the cauliflower florets with a potato masher a little bit, stir and serve.

Cauliflower With Turmeric
This sounds magnificent. Will have to give it a try as soon as I can get my hands on the ingredients. Thanks for a great post.
