My quest for maintenance in my middle age years is to cook savory, interesting and healthy foods. I am currently on the Atkins diet and need to acquire low carb foods that will sustain my appetitie and yet not get boring. I am a Blood Type O and a meat eater. I've tried Auyvedic, Vegetarian and many other diets. Carbs blow me up, make me crave sweets and inhibit weight loss. I recently found out that I have a Candida yeast issue ongoing which I need to go on the anti-Candida diet ...eliminating vinegar, fermented foods, sugar, most cheeses. This, I plan to do several times a year. If anyone out there has a similar profile and would like to contribute recipes that are Candida friendly - that would be great. I will share recipes of the same plus recipes that I have tried and love that are not candida related.
