    I made something very similar and used your recipe as a start. I made the tamarind sauce afresh with garlic, brown sugar, fish sauce, shrimp paste and red chillies. Blended the mixture and used stock to temper it. came out very well.

    Thanks for accepting my invitation. I cannot wait to make the Penne with Artichokes recipe. It's SO me! BTW, my mom visits AU on a regular basis for dives in the Great Barrier Reef. I hope to go along with her one day. AU is soooo gorgeous. I'd move there in a minute. My family is from Italy, that's really a dream home for me!

    Yes, alot of people prone to all kinds of addictions in this world -- good thing ours only makes us fat! I just noticed your pork casserole with caraway dumpling recipe -- can't wait to peruse it!! I love caraway! When I was young I remember my mom put candied caraways on molasses cookies and they were to die for. But I can't find candied caraway nowadays if my life depended on it! Have you ever seen them in your neck of the woods?
