About me
I'm a teacher living in relatively remote, rural part of Newfoundland. I live with my two cats and two fish and don't have the time or the will to cook elaborate meals during the week. I do, however, love to have friends over for a good home-cooked meal on the weekend. I have a tendency to use my friends as guinea pigs for new recipes. I like to try out different things. I don't have access to exotic ingredients, or even some ingredients that are commonplace elsewhere so I'm looking for delicious recipes that are reasonably quick and easy and don't require anything fancy. I also hate doing dishes, so the fewer pots, the better. I don't feel as though I have a lot to contribute to this community at the moment but hopefully as I try more and more recipes, I'll be able to add some to the pile!
