Hi Don. I've just had a chance to add some basic Aussie recipes so have a look when you get time. We don't really eat anything too exotic (I don't think we do anyway!) and Australia has such a massive multi-cultural population now that it's all starting to blur into one! If you love your hunting maybe one day you could venture to our part of the world where kangaroo make for great eating (cooked nice and rare!) and the meat is recognised as the healthiest red meat that you can consume. Keep an eye out, I will try to add a kangaroo recipe in the next few days.

Thanks for the buddy invitation! I was so excited to see the ziplock omelets you posted.....I have not made those for over a year and I appreciated the reminder. I'll look forward to all of your recipes.

I was introduced to speedies by a friend that moved from the Binghamton area to the far reaches of the state where I live. They are little pieces of meat, usually chicken or beef in my experience- but apparently you can use whatever you want, that you grill on skewers and eat on a hard roll. What makes them speedies (there are a few ways to spell it) are the sauce that you marinade them in. I haven't seen them anywhere except central NY, maybe Northern Central Pennsylvania. There are a few recipes for them that I found just now through google here (http://www.cooking-forum.net/cooking/_Need_Speedie_Marinade_Recipe_977850.html), or if you find yourself around Binghamton or Syracuse or in between, you could probably find some bottled versions.

Will send you a few good ones in the next week or so to try. You'll have to let me know what your favorites are and I'll try to look for something in that area. You'll have to send me some of your favorites to. Talk to you soon. Tawnya

I have heard you aren't suppose to make omelets this because the plastic in the baggies or something supposedly can make you sick when boiled. But......there is a new kind of Ziplock brand baggie (I think) that is made for higher temps like in cooking. That is what is being said to use for this method of cooking omelets. I have never tried it this way but i am thinking about it since they have come out with the new baggie.
