About me
Meal time is all about sharing. Sharing food, sharing stories, sharing experiences. Growing up in a family of seven, suppertime was the only time we would all come together and talk about what happened during the day; what went wrong, what went right. To me, sitting down to take a meal together is more than just taking repast; it is a time to reconnect with people you care about. Over the years, cooking has become one of my favorite creative outlets. Last year, while serving in Iraq, I really missed being able to cook (much less eat food that's even slightly palatable!) and when I got back I found this website and have really enjoyed it. Thanks GR!

Hi xerxes, thanks for the friend invitation - glad to accept. Love the look of the pizza recipe - also the kedgeree. I never thought of using salmon for this, as I usually use smoked haddock. My husband Tom hates smoked haddock but loves canned salmon. Similarly he loves pizza but I can't digest dairy food. No reason I can't make the two dishes!

Thanks pal
Susan

Hi Robert, I was so pleased to read that you had tried out my recipe for Pastrami-Horseradish cones & had enjoyed them. I would love to be your cooking friend, thanks for the invite.

Hey Robert
Thanks for your comment on my Irish Stew recipe lol yeah I haven't made it yet a friend passed the recipe onto me I wonder if you can substitute the lamb for something else, but for some reason most European recipes go all out with there recipes we love flavour I guess but that's not a bad thing we just are so over the top lol... hope you have a good week.

Hi Robert, thanks for accepting my invite, look forward to chatting with you and sharing recipes! Also, thanks for taking the time to check out the chorizo kale soup and spinach roulade! Really appreciate your kind reviews on those! No, I have never come across a cream of garlic soup. Will check with my mom, she is a chef in Russia, but can't say that I've ever tasted it, although I love garlic!

Thank you -=)

These sound delicious. If I still lived in Los Angeles I could easily find Inari, however, out here in the middle of the desert I am miles from anything even close to an Asia

Cream Of Garlic Soup
Well, you've done it! Looks like a great creamy soup, the picture is beautiful! I love the method of roasting garlic in the muffin tins! What a clever idea! Bacon should bring

Watercress Soup
this is so comforting I have never used watercress before. I am excited to try it.
