About me
Meal time is all about sharing. Sharing food, sharing stories, sharing experiences. Growing up in a family of seven, suppertime was the only time we would all come together and talk about what happened during the day; what went wrong, what went right. To me, sitting down to take a meal together is more than just taking repast; it is a time to reconnect with people you care about. Over the years, cooking has become one of my favorite creative outlets. Last year, while serving in Iraq, I really missed being able to cook (much less eat food that's even slightly palatable!) and when I got back I found this website and have really enjoyed it.
