About me
Recently moved back to my native Florida after living in Pittsburgh, PA for almost twenty years. I love Pittsburgh and my Pittsburgh friends. But, I love warm weather and the beach just as much. I started cooking in my early teens and was even adventurous enough to try somewhat complicated recipes without my Mom's help. I am not a fan of sweets, I'll actually make cookies for my family and not eat any. I prefer rich and savory, or light and healthy. I also love the deep South favorites like pork rinds with hot sauce and yes! pickled pigs feet. And the only good alligator is the one on my plate.

Four tips:
1. When searching for certain things e.g. Groups, you have to click on the search button and not just hit enter. If you just hit enter it just takes you back to the same page.
2. When posting a new recipe or starting a new group -- do a search first to make sure there isn't one already.
3. When responding to questions on one of your recipes, consider putting it under ALTERATIONS rather than COMMENTS. Comments made dissapear in time, alterations will remain with the recipe for future viewers to see -- in case they have the same question.
