About me
I'm a relative newcomer to Raleigh NC but it really great to be back in the south. I'm originally from Atlanta GA but have lived in Richmond VA, Dublin OH, Crofton and just prior to relocating to Raleigh I was in Glen Burnie MD. I'm 49 years old and married but my wife spends much of her time selling real estate in Naples FL. I found GroupRecipes by searching for a country fried steak recipe. I miss good ole fashioned southern food like I was raised eating. I also like most ethnic foods and love to try new things.

I was born in unicorporated DeKalb county... We had a Decatur Zip Code but it was closer to Gresham Park. When I was 11 we moved to College Park where I stayed until moving to Richmond Virginia.
Thank you to all of my new cooking buddy friends. I'm not creative so I'm not likely to post many recipes other than my grandmother's recipe for Crunch Poundcake. It is simple enough for a child to make - my brother and I started baking them when we were 9 and 11 respectively.
