About me
I'm a Kindergarten Teacher who aspires to go to cooking school and switch careers to cooking, but for now I'm still learning. I pretty successfully make anything I have a recipe and the ingredients for, but since I live in China, I have limited access to ingredients, and my kitchen isn't as well stocked as I would wish. I love cooking for both myself and other people, as long as they tell me how wonderful it is.

Hi...just curious about your name. Do you have any experience with Yemen or Yemeni food, by any chance? Lani

Are you back in China? I just read about the earthquake and the reports said people in Kunming were running out into the streets? Well I hope that your summer vacation was as good as mine, talk to you later.

Let me know how you like the oatmeal cookies, there one of my favorites. Happy Baking!!

I noticed you are currently loving lemony things and if that is true you should try Lemon Asparagus Risotto by lyndee. Its very lemony and is a great risotto recipe. Can you buy asparagus in China - maybe it is not in season? If not, perhaps you could use mushrooms or some other veggie. I understand you are limited in ingredients and equipment as I am friends with Meileen who is also living in China. Happy Cooking! Sandy

Thanks for the invite I would love to be your cooking friend. It's hard for me to find ingrediants too since I also live in China, often find that I have to do 4 more extra steps to the recipe due to lack of ingrediants (ex.jar of roasted red peppers, I have roast myself). I look forward to sharing recipes!
Where in China do you currently live in?

Hey lady! i'm so glad you enjoyed it! :) try out the asparagus soup as well, equally delicious!

Sounds good, and it's so simple! Thanks.
I like your idea of adding pineapple.

Easy Tasty Chicken Teriya
