I am a typical South African! loud & happy and .... I love food ... LOL I love making food. I love to make something quick, these days no one has time to make the Roast and veggies, I leave that to a Sunday. My boyfriend is Jewish and we love to try new ideas, new tastes, try his culture and mine.. i tell you we have a blast!!!

Yes you could bake the latka's in the oven but if its calories your concerned with I use a canola oil to fry and or just a pam cooking spray - because they are done on such low heat its really the moisture from the raw potato that cooks them not the oil

Nah, Australian living in Austallia. I like to try different foods and boerewors are just one of those foods that I've taken a bit of a liking to. I have made your recipe a couple of times and although I have had a little trouble with stuffing the sausage skin, they have each turned out well. Cheers!
