Lillyann (GroupRank 10) Posted 1 year, 12 months ago: The first time I ordered from here, some 20 years ago, I chose a deep dish pizza with mushroom & tomato as toppings. Brought it home, & we were simply in awe! It was like someone had just introduced us to "real food" & we didn't quite know what to do with it! After each bite, it was like we'd eaten the best food ever possibly created on earth. SOOO much cheese, lots of fresh toppings, a good, crackery crust, but the sauce....OMG, I think who ever came up with this recipe should be given the highest honors possible for the food industry. I've never tasted anything like it- very sweet, but salty too & nicely spiced. The sweetness is what keeps me coming back (weekly!) & I crave this stuff until the next time I can get it. UNbelievable. I know that Giordano's has been rated #1 a few times, but after growing up on Arenello's pizzas, Giordano's and Gino's East can't even touch them ..in my experience so far, NOBODY can!
