Httpmom (GroupRank 8) Posted 1 year, 7 months ago: When people come from out of town and they want to try a true taste of California cuisine, they often think they should go to Chez Panisse, but I always send them to the Zuni Cafe, (or I send them to Napa) because while Berkeley is fun, Chez Panisse is so disgustingly pretentious ..it's not at all fun to eat there. I personally think the food at Zuni is a LOT better!
