If you are in the mood for sweet and tangy BBQ, Carson's provides a messy good time. There's often a wait for dinner, so it is best to make reservations, but lunch is always easy in, easy out. If ribs are not your style, Carson's also offers BBQ chicken, pork chops and salmon. After dinner indulge in the sinful candy-bar sundaes. Wait staff can be a little brusque, but are willing to offer suggestions if you ask.

The ambiance is interesting. I kind of felt like I should have been on the set for a mafia or gangster movie because there are no windows, and it's dimly lit. However, the food was amazing. I had the NY prime steak with a side of 'slaw and the twice baked potato. Oh man, I was in heaven. I ordered my steak medium, and it was perfectly pink in the center, and the potato was to die for. Our waiter was also extremely attentive. He was an older guy and very quiet, but I'll tell ya, my water glass was never empty.

Ribs have been my favorite food since I was very young, but I rarely liked them in restaurants. Carson's is one of the greatest American Rib places EVER! It may be a step behind my family recipe but I have yet to be disappointed in the 20+ times I have been there!
