Ragu Meets Lee

I was hungry for something that sticks to my ribs & didn't feel like eating out or cooking from scratch. The yen for Italian, took hold of me & held my brain for ransom. No Pasta, then go eat a box of crackers. So, I looked in my pantry & a jar of Chunky Ragu leapt into my arms. Next stop, the Veggie drawer in frig.

Rebels Meatballs

I have made this recipe only once (today!) and it was fantastic. It belongs to my dearest friend, Rebel, a naturally talented cook. As such, she generally eyeballs the recipe, but has given me permission to jot down the measurements that I used today and it worked out great! A bit off the beaten path for meatball recipes...

Gluten Free Handmade Pasta

I just found this recipe ...guess what it is one that uses a pasta machine...!!!! you can use a Flax gel... recipe included instead of eggs for anyone that can't have eggs.... also the amount of Xanthan Gum is correct... this is what is said about it.... Gluten-free pasta needs extra xanthan gum in order to roll smoothly through a hand-crank pasta machine. The extra xanthan gum also gives this pasta a nice firm texture.
Recipe by Rebecca Reilly.
I can't wait to try this
