Brunch Baked Bananas

Found this while looking for a banana dish to serve at a brunch bridal shower, (the bride loves bananas!). Thought I would share this one. The addition of orange zest and orange liquer sounds really good. Could also use cinnamon and/or nutmeg, very adaptable to your own tastes. I used 2 as the serving size, but, you would just bake one banana per person. Great for a brunch side dish, or with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Spiked Frozen Coffee

Made from nothing more than sweetened condensed milk and very strong coffee, Southeast Asian coffee is a force to be reckoned with. Spike it with some coffee liqueur and freeze it, and you’ve got an adult take on frozen pops that are a great late-night treat at a cocktail party or any other time you want to party.

Orange liquer adds an unexpected flavor to this cranberry / pineapple / mandarin orange relish. Toasted pecans or walnuts add even more flavor and crunch. From my Biltmore House cookbook. Taking this to Mom's this year. Chill at least 8 hours.
