Apple Cinnamon Tea Bagels

Stuffed full of my home made apple butter, whole wheat flour, a heady dose of cinnamon and even apple-flavoured herbal tea, these chewy bagels are boiled in a honey and apple tea bath and baked in a super-hot oven to crusty perfection. Try them spread with peanut butter for a breakfast on the go! Makes eight 4-oz bagels.

Delightful Orange Loaf

My baking freezer ( I have a small freezer just for my baked goods! ) being empty after holiday season, gives me a chance to use leftovers and fill my freezer again with all sorts of goodies I use for company, family and friends, home made baked gifts etc.

This is a recipe that popped in my head that I should use the blender for the oranges. I also did not want to add any nuts or raisins, spices etc as I wanted a simple but delcious loaf with great taste and beautiful color that would be suitable for breakfast, brunch, served with fruit salad or tea or coffee time.
It turned out great with great flavor, texture and color

I hope you enjoy it!

Applesauce Banana Bluberry Loaves

Being snowed in, I decided to do some baking using leftovers. I just mixed in stuff I wanted to use with a basic 1 2 3 quickbread/cake recipe. The results :a moist, flavorful loaf. Yes, I use non standard mixing preparation but it works for me all the time I also don't care for cinnamon and similar spices in such recipes .I usually opt for the vanilla or lemon flavors. Works well for me!

This rich, slightly sweet yeast bread is full of spicy heat from crushed anise and nutmeg. The flavours blend perfectly with the creamy eggnog and apple butter dough that has a few added egg yolks for extra body!
