My Grandmas Bread

This is my Grandma's bread recipe. I grew up next door to her, and she would bake it almost every day. She used milk fresh from our cows and scalded it, and of course made it all by hand. I've changed the recipe so I can use my stand mixer, and also halved it from the orignial because who needs 4 loaves of bread a day! It holds up well for a few days, but tastes best fresh from the oven. It also makes a real good French toast. Grandma would make both loaves of bread and buns with the dough.
