Turkey Bacon And Swiss Club Burgers

I love playing around with burgers and creating different versions, and decided to try that with ground turkey last night. These turkey burgers are more hearty than a club sandwich and taste great! Will be in our regular rotaion.

Cranberry Turkey Strata

I found this on line and it really appealed to me. It is the 2009 Ultimate Cranberry Recipe Contest Finalist created by Janice Elder. This strata would be a great way to use up the leftover turkey that is in our future!

Botwina

Botwina is the soup made of the upper, leafy part of the beetroot and the actual beetroot. It should be made of baby beetroots with small leaves but personally I’ve never seen baby beetroots in any supermarket in US so I use mature beets and leaves. Sometimes Swiss-chard might be easier to find so eventually you can use the chard in place of beetroot leaves. Chard is from the same family as beetroots and tastes similar. You will still need though red beets to prepare the soup.

Seafood Linguine Mornay

This comes from a Weight Watchers cookbook, but it is full of flavor and totally satisfying. There are no point values assigned because this recipe was created before that system was enacted.
