		<title>Chocolate Layer Cake</title>
<description>This is an old-fashioned type of chocolate layer cake. Do not substitute semisweet chocolate chips for the chopped semisweet chocolate in the frosting—chocolate chips contain less cocoa butter than bar chocolate and will not melt as readily. For best results, don't make the frosting until the cakes are cooled, and use the frosting as soon as it is ready. If the frosting gets too cold and stiff to spread easily, wrap the mixer bowl with a towel soaked in hot water and mix on low speed until the frosting appears creamy and smooth. Refrigerated leftover cake should sit at room temperature before serving until the frosting softens.

		<title>Grilled Pizza</title>
<description>Pizzas cook very quickly on the grill, so before you begin grilling them, be sure to have all the equipment and ingredients you need at hand. The pizzas are best served hot off the grill. It is important that the coals be spread in an even layer over three-quarters of the grill bottom; coals placed any higher will scorch the crust.

		<title>Pasta Salad With Pesto</title>
<description>This salad is best served the day it is made; if it's been refrigerated, bring it to room temperature before serving. The pesto can be made a day ahead--just cook the garlic cloves in a small saucepan of boiling water for 1 minute. Garnish with additional shaved or grated Parmesan. The addition of spinach helps maintain pesto's bright green color.
