Nuts-Bolts Party Mix

Nuts & Bolts -- now they call it Chex Party Mix. This is my mom's recipe that she's tweaked to our liking and I have since added my own flair to it. We especially enjoy this at family reunions and holidays.

Honey Corn Bread

This is not your grandmother's corn bread. I found it many years ago and it has always had the best texture -- moist, sweet - melt-in-your-mouth good.

7 To 1 Granola

This is an old tried and true recipe I created a few decades ago in my hippie dippie days. Tastes excellent with the yogurt recipe I also have posted. Change the granola ingredients around to suit you, remembering to keep the ratio of 7 dry to 1 liquid.

Simply Yogurt

This is not your typical yogurt recipe, but I've been using it for decades and never had a bad batch. I've read so many posts about folks having troubles making yogurt when just using milk and yogurt culture. If you've been afraid to try your hand at yogurt, fear not -- this IS the recipe for you!

Stellas Banana Bread

This was my gramma's recipe and it's the best!!! I think the secret to its moist texture and marvelous taste is the sour cream or sour milk and making sure the bananas go to "wine". Freeze 3 bananas to a bag, and then let them come to room temperature in a bowl when it’s time to make bread. Be sure to include all the "wine" (i.e., liquid) from the bananas. Doubling the recipe is recommended!
