Ginger Jello For Vomiting

While stationed in the North we were very fortunate to have one of the best Pediatricians ever. He was the most caring man I have ever met. He referred to his patients as Little Ladies and Little Gentlemen . My children still remember him to this day. Whenever they got an upset stomach they would ask for Ginger Jello. To this day when they are sick I get a phone call. It works for adults as well. This was a recipe given out to parents when their little one was vomiting and it works like a charm.I know this will become as valuable to you as it has been to me.Let me know what group you think it should belong to

Molasses Taffy A Family Affair

Ah the memories. One great thing about coming from a large family we could always have a party even if nobody else showed up we still had a crowd. Good thing we were an even number though when it came to this one. You always knew whom was chummy with whom by the one they chose to pull taffy with. Though by the time it was over we were all friends again. A family that pulls together blah…blah…blah …get my drift?. LOL So butter up those hands grab a Brother or Sister and have a little fun. It seems like these days we get so busy with running from this thing to that that we forget the importance of taking the time to come together in the home other than in from of the TV. I like to think some day my kids will be doing as I am starting a sentence with the words AH The Memories…..

Chicken Quesadillas With Spinach Salad And Poppy Seed Dressing

Ever have those skinny little Quesadillas?
Well that was what prompted me to come up with this. No Skinny ones here. Leftover filling if any can be used up the next day. It gets rave reviews and recipe requests every time. It really is so good and the spinach salad really compliments it. To top that all off it is on the healthy side as well. WELL not counting the bruises from them plowing you down to get to the table.

Gingerbread

A friend passed this recipe on to me and it is the one I make now. It is a very soupy batter and you think you must have erred somehow but that is how it is. The first time I made it I thought I must have made a mistake and added more flour but I was told it is supposed to be that way Put a pan under the cake pan if your Angel food pan is like mine and is not 1 solid pan but two pieces.
