Seafood Laska

This is a laska recipe I have perfected voer the years through thai kitchen and my own experimentation. Can mix and match, but get the spices right.
Great dish to pre-prepare and cook when your guest arrive, apart from the frangrant spices you look impressive

Avocado Chicken Turkey Salad In Bread Baskets

One of my fave ways to serve a sandwich for a special event, is in a bread basket. Use a loaf or two of french or italian bread, slice horizontally, pull out most of the bread & stuff with your favorite salad & goodies of choice, i.e. Waldorf salad, shrimp, salmon, lobster or tuna salad.

Hamburger Country Pie

I was looking in the paper today…what? Yes I can read, thank you very much! They had an article about BNSF taking a locomotive around to various towns to educate people that they should stop for trains. A couple of days ago they had a pedestrian hit by a train. The TV news showed "rescue" workers searching a very long stretch of the tracks. Now to me if someone has not figured out by now that a 240 ton (480,000lb) locomotive will win in a collision and they don’t exactly stop on a dime. Then it is a bit late. Just how are you going to educate someone like that? As far as pedestrian vs. train? Larry the Cable Guy even has the answer to that one. "Just step aside" It is not like the darned things can swerve to get you! Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel has a whistle attached.

Wonton Baskets

Discovered the joy of WonTon wrappers when trying to come up with a new recipe to take to Superbowl. You can bake up these little baskets ahead of time and store them in plastic container. Make up fillings separately and fill them on game day.
