		<title>Jeweled Persian Saffron Cookies</title>
<description>The recipe that I modified from the Toronto Star makes about 4 dozen small cookies, but I baked off 18 first and froze the rest of the dough for late - that turned out to be the right course of action - they're rich so the silver dollar size is perfect!

		<title>Blums Coffee Crunch Cake</title>
<description>A crunch toping is made by cooking coffee and corn syrup, cooled, broken up and topped over a whipped cream frosted angelfood cake. There are a few versions of the recipe( for both cake and topping ) on the Net, The cake is described:
"A light sponge cake with just a hint of lemon and vanilla, it had rich heavy whipped cream spread thinly between the layers and on the sides and top; it was covered with crushed bittersweet coffee crunch candy." Sounds great!
Please note, the photo is not mine and was uploaded by an admirerer of this recipe.
The following recipe uses a storebought or home made sponge or angelfood cake.

		<title>Blue Corn Tamales</title>
<description>These were the side for my Dinner Around the World dinner party. They made a beautiful presentation with the mole. They are a little time consuming and I learned a lot making them. My plan was to have these nice little blue tamale packages, filled with poblano, corn and creamy pieces of cheese. The reality was, after 3 hours of cooking, the cheese had melted entirely into the masa. Wasn't planned, but it ended up adding an unexpected creaminess to the tamale and was very good.</description>
