Cinnamon And Honey For Good Health

This is making the email rounds. has been around since 1995 and I looked it up on Snopes.com and it was listed with undetermined credibility.

I sent it to an MD friend who said cinnamon was used to lower blood sugar and cholesterol and honey was used to treat infected wounds! He pointed out to use local honey and not an imported honey as some countries do not have strict food production regulations

And being an RN, perked my curiosity. Ironically it used to be the honey and vinegar routine and now the honey and cinnamon.
Here for your info only and use your judement. As with health issues always check with your MD first!

Sweet Tea Cured Pork Roast From Blackberry Farms Walland Tn

Blackberry Farms in Walland, TN is located at the Foothills of the Smoky Mtns. Rated the #1 small luxury hotel in America. The chef who created this recipe, John Fleer, was once chef to Mary Tyler Moore. He is no longer at Blackberry Farm, but, I stumbled across this recipe, and wanted to share. A friend of mine was a hairdresser in the spa at one time, and she broght some of this to me one day...it's extraordinary! The roast needs to cure for 2 days. All southern gals (and guys) who love their sweet tea and pork chops will be in heaven with this one!
(blackberryfarm.com for info about the inn)
