Spiced Coffee Rubbed Grilled Pork Chops

How about this for your Labor Day cookout? Originally this recipe came from a paperback book
called Western Cooking, meaning the fare of the cowboys,Indians and the Midwest. Chef Paul was rummaging through
some of his 'stuff' and came across this little booklet and found a coffee rub for steaks in it.
Although the recipe in the booklet was much simpler, he liked the taste and the general idea of it and so,
this is how, an amended version of it he now uses with pork chops for BBQ’s or as a rub when roasting a whole
loin of pork, ended up in his web based recipe collection, The Chef's Pencil.
The recipe can be used for beef or chicken as well, but he reduces the sugar content for that.
