Layered Pasta Salad

This is my go-to dish during the Summer for get-togethers, parties, etc. Use any med size pasta, cheese, dressing of choice. Add in any veggies you like. Other add-ins can be shrimp, crab etc. The possiblities are endless. Serve it in a clear glass bowl to see the colors & layers. The pasta soaks up the dressing, so adjust, as needed.

Layered Party Pasta Salad

Perfect Summertime dish for parties, outdoor events etc. You can change the ingredients out to suit your taste, i.e. use any med pasta, veggies, cheese, dressing of choice. Add seafood (crab, shrimp etc) if you wish - & make it your own creation. The possibilities are endless. I serve it in a pretty clear V-shaped bowl, to see the colors & layering. The pasta soaks up the dresssing, so add more as needed. Cook & prep times are approximate.

Soft Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Revisited 2009

Another Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe - well I am on a mission to narrow my recipes down to one favorite of my recipes. This one is based in - laziness, no mixer to drag out; the kids, especially the little ones, can have fun making; remove 2-step butter process from last years recipe; I like easy measures (whole and halves) - limits amount of dirty dishes and experimenting with the addition of cornstarch - I see a lot of recipes adding pudding and I don't like the flavor of boxed pudding. I figure pudding is sugar, milk, eggs and cornstarch so why not just substitute an equivalent amount of cornstarch. These are truly soft even the next day.
