Butter Mochi Cake

I adapted this recipe from Aunty Yochana's Cake Delight (http://auntyyochana.blogspot.com/2008/08/sweet-mochiko-butter-cake.html). It's custardy mochi cakes that are almost like thick creme brulee. Very easy to make, and gluten-free!

Awesomely Delicious Gf Brownies

made these based on a recipe from Hannah's blog Bittersweet. She's a culinary genious! These brownies are lower-fat, gluten free, vegan and the best fudgy dessert ever! I modified the original recipe slightly, using chocolate chips and peanuts, amongst other things. I can't wait to make this again!

Mochiko Chicken

Mochiko is Japanese rice flour. This is a "Japanese teriyaki flavored fried chicken" if you had to sum it up. It's a Local (Hawaii) Favorite and its usually eaten with white rice and a side of veggies, (Hawaii is famous for double starching, usually rice with a macaroni side) I choose to omit the double starch and add a veggie, such as a broccoli or normandy mix.

Mochi

The sweet rice treat. If you've not had this, I really recommend you try it. It's simple, easy and really amazingly good.

For those not familiar with mochi, you'll cut it and serve like a brownie, but it will have a much softer texture, closer to taffy than to cake.
