Spaghetti With Tuna And Fava Beans

And olives-very much optional, but I love them, had them in the cupboard and had to have them!

I love them.Love the texture, consistency and most of all the fact that they have the ability to absorb a whole load of flavour.
I decided to use them in this recipe because I knew they would absorb the sweetness of the tomato sauce and the saltiness of the tuna, complementing the two and adding extra texture.
The olives are added for extra flavour and texture but they are entirely optional as I know, not everyone loves them!

Beef And Fava Beans Stew

I made this dish on pure culinary instinct. No recipe, just experimenting with flavours.
It was a case of 'what's left in the freezer and cupboard before the monthly food shopping trip'

I found some Stewing beef, broad beans, carrots, onions and this was the result 3 1/2 hours later.
Tasted really delicious too.

Did something I hadn't done before-Coated beef in a mixture of light flour, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, paprika and refrigerated it overnight.
The result was excellent and not only did the seasoning flavour the meat but if also tenderised it beautifully, ready to cook in the casserole.

Low-Calorie Rocky Road Treat-lettes

This dessert is really easy to make. The portion sizes are small, but if you use high-cocoa chocolate then it's deliciously rich and satisfyingly naughty-tasting. But - and here's the big appeal - each treat-lette is only 97 calories!

Landis Pork Store Rice Balls

Ok - I saw this on "Road Tasted" back when the Deen boys were hosting. They visited a store in Brooklyn called Landi's and this is one of the things the store offers. I have not tried it yet - but I had to share since they just sound amazing. In order to give proper credit I am also posting the link to Landi's down at the bottom. Looks like they have GREAT stuff - and they ship, too!

*Please note* - This recipe is copied as is from the website. Thanks!
