Fish Cakes Supreme

My husband wanted something different for dinner using imitation seafood we had to use up . He wanted me to come up with some kind of fish cake. And I did and it was so delcious we will serve it for company next time
I never thought the imitation stuff tastes like real crab or lobster but these fish cakes have a delicious flavor nondescript of some kind of mild fish and the seasonings are delighful together.
My use of cornflour was a great idea I believe, as it browns golden, forms a coating and adds a nice nutty flavor. Maybe cormeal would do the same, I don't know.

Baked White Fish And Fingerling Potatoes

Your choice of mild white fish fillets soak in a delicate wine, lemon juice and herb marinade, while the garlic-chive flavored fingerling potatoes roast until almost tender. Then bake the fish alongside the potatoes and serve the meal straight out of the oven to your table.

Use your choice of cod, sole, freshwater catfish, halibut or flounder in this recipe with equally delicious results. New potatoes can easily substitute for the fingerlings.

Fried Fish Marinated In Garlic Vinegar Oregano And Cumin

Generally this dish is served in Andalusia as part of a mixed fish fry, but it's wonderful on its own. The marinade makes the fish flavorful and succulent. Note: Prep time does not include marinade time.
