Mr Headricks Fudge

Mr. Headrick was a gentleman (probably in his 70's at the time) who used to walk everyday at the shopping ctr where my Mom and I had a dress shop - over 20 years ago. Every Christmas he would bring fudge to all of us merchants. His pockets would be full of peanut butter or chocolate fudge, cut into 1 inch squares, all individually wrapped in foil! He finally gave Mom his recipe...and even she says it's the best fudge she ever had. (And hers is pretty darn good! LOL ) I'm sure Mr. Headrick is long gone, but, we talk about him and his candy every year. Somehow, it's just not the same when we make it as it was when he would bring it to us!
