Cherry Cheese Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pint whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package white cake mix
  • 2 (21 oz) cans cherry pie filling
  • 4 c confectioners' sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  • Step #2 Pour into two greased 13-in.
  • Step #3 x 9-in.
  • Step #4 x 2-in.
  • Step #5 baking pans.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 min or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #7 Cool.
  • Step #8 In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese & sugar until fluffy; fold in the whipped cream.
  • Step #9 Spread over each cake.
  • Step #10 Top with pie filling.
  • Step #11 Chill 4 hrs or overnight.
