Ingredients
6 eggs .
1/2 c butter .
salt .
1 1/2 c flour .
1 1/2 c water
Directions
Step #1 In heavy saucepan, heat butter & water over med-low heat until butter melts.
Step #2 Remove from heat & stir in the flour.
Step #3 Return to med-low heat & cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Step #4 Remove from heat & cool.
Step #5 Add the eggs, 3 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step #6 Stir in a dash of salt.
Step #7 Drop dumplings into boiling soup.
Step #8 Cook for 10 to 15 mins with lid off.
