Step #1 Fancy party dish - Find a pretty dish, preferably with sloping sides so spread can be scooped easily.
Step #2 Center an 8 oz block of cream cheese on this dish.
Step #3 Mix 1/2 jar of your favorite salsa, or 1 c of your homemade salsa, with a drained 8 oz can of crushed pineapple.
Step #4 I usually drain some of the liquid from the salsa.
Step #5 You want a mushy mix, not a watery one.
Step #6 Top the cream cheese with this mix.
Step #7 Put this plate on top of a larger plate or tray & fill tray with party breads, crackers, veggies, etc.
Step #8 Include several small spreaders for friends to use to spread this on tidbits of their choice.
Step #9 This can be made ahead in about 10 mins, & set out about 15 mins before serving, put in the fridged covered, so it will be spreadable.
