Cinnamon Nut Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c finely sliced walnuts
  • 4 1/2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/3 c water
  • 7 1/2 tsps sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, eggs, mix the cake mix, water & oil.
  • Step #2 Beat on medium speed for 2 mins.
  • Step #3 Combine walnuts, sugar & cinnamon.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top a third of the nut mixture into a greased 10-in.
  • Step #5 fluted tube pan.
  • Step #6 Top with half of the batter & another third of the nut mixture.
  • Step #7 Repeat layers.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #9 Cool for 10 mins before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
